GRAPEVINE, Texas (AP) - Police say two drivers have died in a wrong-way crash on a Dallas-area highway.

Grapevine police Sgt. Robert Eberling said a motorist was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane of state Highway 114 when the person’s vehicle struck another early Thursday morning. The drivers of both vehicles were killed. There were no passengers in either vehicle.

Eberling said they are investigating and he had no further information yet.

A portion of the highway has been closed and traffic diverted onto a surface road.
