TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Pima County authorities have made an arrest in a series of Tucson-area armed robberies involving a man who stole money from cash registers at fast-food restaurants’ drive-through windows.

The Sheriff’s Department says Sheriff Chris Nanos will release information on the arrest during a news conference Thursday.

The department earlier this week asked for the public’s help in identifying the robbery suspect, who was seen driving two different vehicles.

The most recent robbery occurred the evening of April 20 at a restaurant on Tucson’s southwest side.
