PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - A Pensacola convenience store owner is dead and authorities are searching for the person who shot him during an armed robbery.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says 53-year-old Chung Lun “Alan” Chiang was gunned down Tuesday night as he stood behind the counter at the A&E Food Mart. On Wednesday, officials released photos of the suspected gunman that were captured on the store’s surveillance cameras.
The shooting happened about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The Pensacola News Journal (https://on.pnj.com/24mbnCG ) reports the same man is believed to have pointed a gun at a gas station clerk late Monday night before emptying the cash register and taking the employee’s wallet. No one was injured in that incident.
