Car crashes into building in Plainfield

PLAINFIELD, N.J. (AP) - Authorities are assessing the damage after a car crashed into a building in Plainfield.

Officials early Thursday evacuated the apartments above the tax preparation office as a precaution.

It’s not known what caused the crash.
