PHOENIX (AP) - Gasoline prices around Arizona are basically the same this week at the pumps.
Officials with Triple-A Arizona said Thursday the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $2.15 a gallon, an increase of less than a penny from last week.
This week’s national average is $2.17 per gallon, up by more than 6 cents from last week.
Triple-A analysts say barring any unforeseen challenges in supply and refinery production, drivers are expected to pay some of the lowest prices for the summer months in more than a decade.
Tucson currently has Arizona’s lowest average gasoline price at $1.94 a gallon and Flagstaff the highest at $2.32.
Texas has the lowest average gas price among states in the continental U.S. at $1.93 a gallon with California the highest at $2.77.
