CANDIA, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire state police say a driver is dead after a one-car crash on Route 101 in Candia.

Police say the accident happened at about 8:30 a.m. Sunday in the westbound lanes. A witness told police that the vehicle suddenly drove to the right and went airborne, landing on its roof in a wooded area.

Authorities say they are not releasing the driver’s name until relatives can be notified.

There were no passengers in the car.

The accident remains under investigation.
