PHOENIX (AP) - Police have arrested two suspects accused of entering a home through a doggy door and then robbing the elderly homeowner at gunpoint.
Police spokesman James Holmes says Tyrell Gregory Jones and Taquin Jobar Buie, both 20, were booked Sunday on burglary and theft-related charges.
According to Holmes, the two men entered a home through a pet door around 1 a.m.
They allegedly held a 91-year-old woman with a gun and then stole property and money.
They fled in the victim’s vehicle.
Responding officers located the vehicle and the suspects fled on foot.
Holmes says they were caught and arrested shortly after.
The victim was not injured.
