BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A federal grand jury has returned indictments against a man and woman who federal authorities say were housing a heroin dealer in their Vermont home.

The Burlington Free Press reports (https://bfpne.ws/1RTYtGh ) 24-year-old Justin Stone and 22-year-old Corrin Laraway were charged with conspiring with others to distribute heroin and making their Bristol apartment available for the sale of heroin.

The indictments were returned late last week in advance of the duo’s arraignment hearing Monday.

Stone’s attorney Michael Desautels said his client will plead not guilty. Laraway’s attorney didn’t return requests for comment.

Stone and Laraway became known to authorities when a man who was staying at their home was found injured on the side of Notch Road in Lincoln last month.

Both suspects have been detained while their cases are pending.
