FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Fayetteville police are investigating after one man was killed in a shooting over the weekend

Multiple media outlets report that officers responded to a shooting just after 4 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities said people inside two separate vehicles were having a fight and shooting at each other as they drove down the road. Police say the people continued to fire as they made several turns onto different streets.

One of the vehicles stopped at a home, where a man was found with a gunshot wound to his back. Police say he later died at a hospital.

Authorities are still investigating.
