SELINSGROVE, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a 75 -year-old woman has been found slain in her central Pennsylvania home and her husband unconscious in a chair nearby.

Selinsgrove police and the Snyder County coroner have yet to release the names of either person, or how they believe the woman was killed.

Police Chief Thomas Garlock says an autopsy was expected Monday.

Police say someone who stopped by to visit the couple called police after finding the couple unresponsive after 10 a.m. Saturday.

Snyder County District Attorney Michael Piecuch (PEE’-such) says the incident wasn’t a home invasion and that there’s no threat to anyone else.

The condition of the woman’s husband wasn’t immediately clear Monday.
