MOHAVE VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) - Mohave County authorities say one resident of a Mohave Valley recreational vehicle park critically wounded another resident and then fatally shot himself.

The Sheriff’s Office says the two men involved in the incident Tuesday had an ongoing dispute of some kind.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, investigators determined that the resident who shot himself went to the park’s office, got upset, left the office, returned there with a gun and shot the other resident in the head.

The Sheriff’s Office says the shooter than returned to his residence, sat down in a chair and then fatally shot himself.

The shooter’s identity was not released immediately.

The Sheriff’s Office identified the wounded resident as 60-year-old Billy Smith and said he’s hospitalized in critical condition.
