GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - A Minnesota hunter has been sentenced to five years in prison for killing a 14-year-old boy hunting on western Colorado’s Grand Mesa last fall.

The Daily Sentinel (https://bit.ly/23ia6Mj) reports that Guy Pohto of Cook was sentenced Wednesday in Grand Junction after pleading guilty in January to manslaughter and hunting in a careless manner in the death of Justin Burns of Palisade.

Burns was bow hunting with his father when was shot in the chest in September.
