JACKSON, La. (AP) - An employee of Dixon Correctional Institute in Jackson has been arrested for allegedly bringing 91 grams of synthetic marijuana to work.

Sgt. Kevin Garig says 33-year-old April Lemon, of McComb, Mississippi, was arrested Monday on one count of introduction of contraband into a penal facility, a felony. She was released Tuesday after posting $10,000 bond.

Garig tells The Advocate (https://bit.ly/2081TIE ) that Lemon might have had accomplices and his office is still investigating.

Authorities say Lemon has been terminated. It was unclear how long she had worked for the facility.
