Body found in vehicle near Casper identified

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Natrona County authorities have identified a man whose body was found in a vehicle in a rural neighborhood north of Casper.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1UY5gCM ) that Searcy Evon Johnson’s body was found Tuesday. Officials say the 40-year-old man’s last known address was in Washington state.

Sheriff’s deputies had received a call about the dead body and responded to the area off Bryan Stock Trail.

Authorities say Johnson’s death is suspicious, but have not released any details. They believe it is an isolated incident.

The death remains under investigation.
