RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) - Commercial air service from Riverton is expected to expand this summer through a deal with Key Lime Air.
The Ranger reports (https://bit.ly/1WeQ7MB ) that the Riverton City Council on Tuesday approved the agreement, which will have the airline scheduled for three flights each day between Riverton and Denver, beginning July 1.
Key Lime Air began offering commercial service in Sheridan in September. Fremont County Air Service Task Force Chairwoman Missy White says Key Lime’s reasonable fares and 99 percent on-time record makes it a good alternative for passengers in the area.
Riverton’s current carrier, Great Lakes Airlines, has been known to have frequent cancellations and high ticket prices.
Officials say ticket prices for Key Lime’s Riverton flights will likely be similar to Sheridan flights, which range from $90 to $350.
