LOUISA, Va. (AP) - A Mineral man and his two adult children will serve prison time for dealing heroin.
The Daily Progress reports (https://bit.ly/1oD1ZKx) 46-year-old Billy Joe Bentley Sr. was sentenced Wednesday in Louisa Circuit Court to 22 years in prison with 16 years suspended on charges of distributing heroin and violating the terms of his probation.
His daughter, 23-year-old Megan Bentley, was sentenced in March to 40 years in prison with all but two years suspended. She pleaded guilty in January to charges of distributing heroin and conspiring with her father to distribute heroin.
Billy Bentley’s son, 20-year-old Billy Joe Bentley Jr., received a 10-year prison sentenced with seven years suspended. He pleaded guilty in January to distributing heroin.
