CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was killed in Charlotte early on Thursday morning.
A release from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says officers were called shortly before 5:30 a.m. and found a man in the street suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his identity won’t be released until relatives are notified.
Police are searching for witnesses. No arrests have been made.
