DALLAS (AP) - A 4-year-old North Texas boy has been credited with saving his ill mother by unlocking her cellphone and calling his physician father for help.
WFAA-TV (https://bit.ly/1WeyhJJ ) reports Misty Vaughan was taken to a Dallas hospital after getting sick and her temperature spiked to 105 degrees. She was discharged Thursday from Methodist Health System.
Vaughan was home with her son, Camden, on Sunday when she became ill, thought she had the flu and passed out.
Camden located her iPhone. The boy said he saw his father’s photo at the top of the “favorites” listed, tapped the phone button, the star and touched the picture.
Dr. Jeremy Vaughan says his son told him that his wife wouldn’t wake up and he needed to come home.
Doctors believe the woman suffered a seizure.
