GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - The Green Bay Packers will play exhibition home games this year against the Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders.
The NFL announced the 2016 preseason matchups Thursday. The Packers were slated to face the Browns the weekend of Aug. 12-14 and the Raiders the weekend of Aug. 19-21 at Lambeau Field.
As previously announced by the league, the Packers will start the preseason on Aug. 7 in Canton, Ohio, against the Indianapolis Colts as part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement weekend featuring former quarterback Brett Favre.
The Packers will visit the San Francisco 49ers the weekend of Aug. 26-28 and the Kansas City Chiefs on either Sept. 1 or 2.
The NFL will reveal the regular-season schedule later.
