COCOA, Fla. (AP) - Police in Cocoa are investigating after four people were wounded in what authorities believe was a drug-related shooting.

Cocoa police spokeswoman Yvonne Martinez says in a statement that officers responded to the scene Wednesday night after receiving multiple calls about a shooting in a parking lot.

Police say arriving officers found the unidentified victims, who had fled in different locations.

Martinez says one victim was found in a wooded area near the scene. Three other victims had fled in a vehicle and were located at a nearby gas station.

Police say one victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The three others were hospitalized in serious condition.

Martinez says the incident wasn’t a random act and is believed to be drug-related.
