MIAMI (AP) - Police have made an arrest following the death of one of two teenagers who was killed in separate Miami shootings on Tuesday.

Miami police spokeswoman Kenia Fallat says in a statement that a 15-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday in the death of 16-year-old Osmand Falls. The suspect is charged with second-degree murder with a deadly weapon.

Police say Falls was confronted Tuesday evening by the suspect, who fired a gun at him several times before fleeing.

Falls was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Police in Miami Gardens are also continuing to investigate after a 17-year-old boy was found shot to death at an apartment complex Tuesday. Police haven’t released details or any suspected motive that may have led to the teenager’s death. No arrests have been made.
