CANDIA, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire state police say one driver is dead and another suffered minor injuries in a two-car crash in Candia.

Authorities say 43-year-old Joseph Dekorne, of Freemont, was pronounced dead at the scene Friday. They say 31-yaer-old Michael McCormick, of Bedford, suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from Elliot Hospital in Manchester.

Police say it appears Dekorne was operating his Dodge Dakota pick-up truck at a high rate of speed eastbound on Route 101 in Candia when he lost control, struck the Audi McCormick was driving and then rolled over, with the truck coming to rest on its roof.

The 7:30 a.m. crash closed the eastbound lanes of Route 101 for three hours while the crash was being investigated and debris was cleared from the road.
