VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say they believe a fire at a church in Vancouver was intentionally set.

Firefighters responded to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Friday morning after men arriving for a basketball game found the pulpit on fire.

The Columbian reports (https://goo.gl/UzKRT7) crews arrived from a fire station around the corner from the church and were able to quickly put out the flames.

Clark County Fire District 6 spokesman Dave Schmitke says no major structural damage occurred from fire or smoke, but the pulpit will need to be replaced.

Police are investigating.
