BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - A bank robber who was caught just minutes after a holdup faces considerably more time behind bars.

Prosecutors in Buffalo say Antwan Lindsay faces up to seven years in prison after pleading guilty Thursday to a charge of robbery. Lindsay has been in jail since his arrest a year ago.

Authorities say the 41-year-old robbed an M&T Bank in Buffalo of $1,700 on April 7, 2015 and was arrested a few minutes later by the Buffalo police and bank security.

Police recovered the money from a plastic bag, which also contained a magazine article on the use of disguises in bank robberies. Lindsay’s hat and sweatshirt were found in a garbage can.
