LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Threats and weapons charges filed against a Lincoln woman have been dismissed.

Online court records say a judge approved the prosecution motion Monday in the case against 23-year-old Elyssia Ochoa.

Lincoln police say Ochoa had driven to a friend’s apartment July 10 after her friend reported that she and her husband had been arguing. Police say Ochoa fired one rifle shot toward the man and a neighbor, hitting a sidewalk. She was arrested several days later.

The Lincoln Journal Star reports (https://bit.ly/23hRb7K ) that prosecutors asked for the charges to be dismissed because they couldn’t find the man and the neighbor or other witnesses.
