COQUILLE, Ore. (AP) - A Coos County man has been sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison in connection to a fire that completely destroyed a camping trailer in North Bend.

The World newspaper reports (https://is.gd/k4mNKK) that 31-year-old Todd Christian Sanders on Monday was sentenced for arson and burglary. In addition to prison time, he has also been ordered to pay more than $4,600 in restitution.

Charges of attempted murder, theft and reckless endangerment were dismissed as part of the change of plea.

Sanders was arrested in January after he used gasoline to set fire to a trailer that was occupied by a man and a woman. The victims escaped the trailer and no injuries were reported.
