TYRE, N.Y. (AP) - Developers of the del Lago Resort & Casino in the Finger Lakes say they are making progress on its construction.
They are hosting a ceremony Friday to mark the casino’s final beam being set in place. The casino just off the Thruway between Rochester and Syracuse is scheduled to open in February 2017.
Lago is one of the three upstate casinos approved for state licenses. The other two casinos are in the Catskills and Schenectady. Another casino license is being considered for the Southern Tier.
