ST HELENA ISLAND, S.C. (AP) - Beaufort County deputies say firefighters found a body as they put out a fire at a shed on St. Helena Island.
The sheriff’s office said in a news release that arson investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
Deputies say the fire was reported around 8 a.m. Friday.
The coroner’s office has ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death and identify the victim.
