EVENDALE, Ohio (AP) - Police say three adults were killed in a three-car crash on northbound Interstate 75 in suburban Cincinnati.

Evendale police say the crash north of Cincinnati early Friday morning killed a 61-year-old Fairfield man, his 55-year-old wife and a 30-year-old Springfield Township man in a different vehicle.

Police say the driver of the third car was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say dispatchers received a 911 call about a vehicle traveling in the wrong direction on the highway less than a minute before the crash.

It closed a section of northbound I-75 to be closed for several hours.
