ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Police say a suspect is being sought in a shooting above a restaurant in a historic district of St. Paul that killed one person.
The shooting happened late Thursday afternoon in one of the small businesses above the W.A. Frost & Company restaurant. St. Paul police Sgt. Mike Ernster said at a news conference that a suspect was being sought in “an active and open investigation.”
Ernster said the shooting is “an isolated and nonrandom incident.”
The Star Tribune (https://strib.mn/1SDG3ap ) reports the building was locked down for several hours. A street was closed at one of St. Paul’s busiest intersections.
The shooting happened in the historic Dacotah Building in the Cathedral Hill neighborhood.
