RENO, Nev. (AP) - A Swedish commercial drone developer is planning to move some of its operations to Reno.

KRNV-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1YjozEj ) that University of Nevada, Reno’s Nevada Advanced Autonomous Systems Innovation Center Business Director Warren Rapp says SmartPlanes will be moving into the city with as many as 20 people working in Reno within a year.

SmartPlanes develops drones for aerial mapping, surveying, remote sensing and surveillance.
