WEST CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - A 23-year-old West Chester University student is accused of raping another student in a parking garage.

Authorities said Thursday that Austin Eaddy assaulted a woman around 2:30 a.m. last Friday.

Police say the victim told them she was walking back to her dorm from an off-campus party when she was approached by someone she didn’t know and raped in the garage. Eaddy allegedly took her wallet and cellphone and fled when another person arrived.

The Philadelphia man is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.

A second, unrelated rape was reported on Saturday involving a student and a suspect who isn’t a student. Officials say that took place around 4 a.m. Saturday in a residential facility. No arrests have been made.
