EDGEMOOR, Del. (AP) - A man driving a stolen car struck three police vehicles and injured two officers before he was arrested in Edgemoor.
New Castle County police say as officers tried to stop 24-year-old Calvin Warren on Stuyvesant Drive he struck a patrol car and fled the scene. Police say a chase ensued, and as Warren made a U-turn in the Chemours-Edgemoor area while speeding he struck another officer’s car head on before slamming into yet another patrol car. Police say Warren was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released. He has been charged with assault, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and other offenses.
Two officers were injured in the incident and were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. They have both been released.
