LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Two men have been sentenced to prison for separate slayings in central Arkansas.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported Saturday that 22-year-old Juwon Rashad Cooper was sentenced to 15 years in prison for second-degree murder in the May 2014 shooting and stabbing death of Corey Renard Britt.
Forty-year-old Darron Keys was sentenced to 10 years for manslaughter in the February 2015 stabbing death of John Lee Bowers Jr. at a Little hotel.
Both men had pleaded guilty to the charges on March 31.
