BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - The Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center says the danger of avalanches in the Bridger Range is considerable.

Forecasters say above-freezing temperatures in the Bridger Range did not allow the snowpack to freeze for the second night in a row.

Forecasters say wet snow avalanches are likely Saturday and large natural wet avalanches are possible.

They’re urging backcountry adventurers to avoid avalanche terrain and runout zones.
