ROHOBOTH BEACH, Del. (AP) - Delaware police are investigating after a Rohoboth Beach car wreck claimed the life of one man.

Police say the wreck occurred on April 2 a half-mile north of Holland Glade Road. Police say an 18-year-old man driving a Ford swerved into the left lane of traffic to avoid hitting another car and struck a Kia Sorrento being driven by 55-year-old Richard Carmean. Both drivers told police they were uninjured and refused medical treatment.

Police say after returning home Carmean began to experience discomfort and was taken to a hospital. Police say the man died April 4 as a result of the injuries he suffered in the car wreck.
