GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Green Bay police say a suspect in a homicide last weekend has turned himself in.

Capt. John Balza says the 20-year-old suspect surrendered around 6:30 p.m. Friday. He’s being held in the Brown County Jail in the April 2 shooting death of 25-year-old Ricardo Gomez. One other suspect, a 22-year-old man, remains at large.

Police have released few details about the shooting so far. The killing happened inside a residence on Green Bay’s east side. Police have said that Gomez may have been an innocent bystander who may have been at the residence to see the actual target.

Balza says the suspect who surrendered will be referred to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office for a charge of first-degree intentional homicide.
