OLEY, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a man died following an early morning fire in an eastern Pennsylvania home.

Fire crews in Berks County were called to the Oley Township residence at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

The county coroner’s office said the victim was pronounced dead at Reading Hospital shortly after he was brought out of the burning home.

The name of the victim hasn’t been released pending notification of relatives. An autopsy is planned to determine the cause of death.

Neighbor Christine Dickinson told the Reading Eagle that a woman got out of the home and was taken away by ambulance.
