SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Sioux Falls police say an emailed bomb threat against Roosevelt High School was a hoax.
Lt. Dave McIntire tells The Argus Leader (https://bit.ly/1MmgCxo ) that investigators are still trying to determine who sent the email on Thursday.
The email was sent to the Sioux Falls School District and referenced Roosevelt High School.
Investigators did a sweep of the school and determined there were no explosive devices inside. Students and staff were not evacuated.
McIntire says making a false threat of an explosive device is a felony that could result in a sentence of two years at the state penitentiary.
