SEATTLE (AP) - A Toppenish man has been accused of fatally shooting another man in a Renton apartment-complex stairwell.
The Seattle Times reports (https://bit.ly/1Q0GLwl ) that 24-year-old Omar Acevedo has been charged with second-degree murder and unlawful possession of a firearm, as the he is a felon. He was arrested four days after Shiraz Al-Shamarrai was fatally shot.
According to court documents, Acevedo was arrested in connection to an armed robbery in Yakima County. The King County charges were filed after he was connected to the Al-Shamarrai case.
