MADISON, Wis. (AP) - The University of Wisconsin-Madison Police Department is investigating a sexual assault that was reported near Memorial Union.
Police spokesman Marc Lovicott says the victim told police that three men she didn’t know held her down at knifepoint and sexually assaulted her sometime between 10 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. Friday.
She was unable to give police a detailed description of the men.
Police have issued a crime warning to the campus community and are asking that anyone with information contact them at 608-264-COPS (2677).
