WILKINSBURG, Pa. (AP) - A man shot near the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant in western Pennsylvania has died.
Allegheny County police say 19-year-old Antonio Troutman, of Wilkinsburg, was shot at about 11:30 a.m. Monday near the Wendy’s restaurant.
Homicide Lt. Andrew Schurman says he was shot in the neck and died at a hospital.
Police were attempting to locate surveillance video from businesses in the area, but believe Troutman was shot on the sidewalk near the restaurant then fled toward a dialysis clinic across the street.
Nobody in the restaurant was involved or hurt.
Police say there appear to have been several people involved “on each” side of the shooting, without elaborating. Schurman says the motive also isn’t clear.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
