CLAREMONT, N.H. (AP) - Police say a 37-year-old New Hampshire man was crushed to death this weekend after a car he was working under fell on top of him.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene Sunday afternoon along with Claremont police and firefighters following reports that someone was trapped underneath a vehicle in Moody Park.
Officers located the victim and his car upon their arrival. Fire crews removed the man from underneath the vehicle but he had already died prior to that.
Police say it appears that the equipment the victim was using came loose and the car fell on him. The man’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
Claremont police are investigating the incident.
