New DC Superior Court judge to be sworn in

WASHINGTON (AP) - A new District of Columbia Superior Court judge is set to be sworn in.

Elizabeth Carroll Wingo will take the oath of office Friday to become an associate judge. She’s been a magistrate judge for the past decade.

Wingo is a native of the District and a former assistant U.S. attorney for the city.
