A Comedy Central roast of actor Rob Lowe over the weekend turned into an ambush against political pundit Ann Coulter.

Saturday’s taping of “The Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe” featured an appearance by Ms. Coulter, whose presence was too good to pass up for the comedians in the room.

A slew of entertainers — and NFL great Peyton Manning — seemingly roasted the “In Trump We Trust” author better than Mr. Lowe.

“Ann, you are awful. The only person you will ever make happy is the Mexican who digs your grave,” said Nikki Glaser.

“Ann is one of the most repugnant, hateful, hatchet-face b–—s alive,” British comedian Jimmy Carr added. “It’s not too late to change, Ann. You could kill yourself!”

Super Bowl champion and future NFL Hall of Fame member Mr. Manning joked, “I’m not the only athlete up here. As you all know, earlier this year, Ann Coulter won the Kentucky Derby!”

Mr. Lowe was generally teased about his acting ability, a 1988 sex tape with an unidentified 16-year-old, and his good looks, Variety reported Sunday.

Comedy’s Central’s roast of Mr. Lowe will air on Monday, Sept. 5.
