PENDLETON, N.Y. (AP) - A 72-year-old woman has been found dead inside her Niagara County home after firefighters doused an early-morning fire there.
Niagara County Sheriff James Voutour tells WIVB in Buffalo (https://bit.ly/2alp12m ) that the woman’s son returned home from work to find fire crews working at the scene.
The fire was reported just before 7 a.m. Wednesday in the town of Pendleton, 15 miles north of Buffalo.
Voutour says no foul play is suspected.
The name of the woman is being withheld pending notification of relatives.
