MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) - A woman has been accused of stealing money from a Mason City dental office where she’d worked for several years.

Pamela Harris is charged in U.S. District Court with wire fraud. Her arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 13. Her attorney didn’t immediately return a call Tuesday from The Associated Press.

Court documents say Harris began defrauding the office of Drs. Blake Barnes and Michael Louscher in 2005 and continued until she was dismissed from her post as office manager in 2014. The documents say Harris forged checks and used the practice’s credit cards to make personal purchases. It’s unclear how much money was taken.
