DENVER (AP) - Authorities say a driver fleeing a crash and trying to elude police slammed into an Aurora day care, injuring two children and a woman.

The Denver Post reports (https://goo.gl/iUj8yL ) the driver, whose name has not been released, crashed into a vehicle and fled the scene Wednesday afternoon. An Aurora patrol officer saw the suspect vehicle and tried to pull the driver over.

The vehicle then went into a grocery store parking lot, where it hit a parked car and slammed into Bright Stars Child Care. Police say the children and the woman in the day care suffered minor injuries.

Investigators suspect the driver was under the influence of drugs.
