FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Authorities have identified the bodies of two women found inside a Fayetteville home last week.

Local news outlets report that Fayetteville police say 72-year-old Mary Belle Poole and 50-year-old Amy Poole Davidson were discovered dead on Thursday.

Police say officers went to the home to check on the residents after neighbors became concerned when they didn’t see the people who lived in the home for several days.

Officials say the two women appeared to have been dead for some time.

Authorities say autopsies revealed there were no apparent signs of foul play surrounding the deaths.

The official cause of deaths has not yet been released.
