PHOENIX (AP) - Gasoline prices around Arizona are lower at the pumps this week.

Officials with Triple-A Arizona said Thursday the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $2.10 per gallon, almost 6 cents lower than last week.

This week’s national average is $2.11 per gallon, down by more than 2 cents from last week.

Triple-A analysts say Arizona’s average fuel price is at its lowest mark in 148 days.

They add that barring unforeseen circumstances, gas prices are likely to remain relatively cheap for the remainder of the summer.

Tucson currently has Arizona’s lowest average gasoline price at $1.86 a gallon and Flagstaff the highest at $2.39.

South Carolina has the lowest average gas price among states in the continental U.S. at $1.82 a gallon and California the highest at $2.68.
